Hello Wedlock Gisters!
As parents we are often overwhelmed by all of the things that need to be accomplished in the span of any given day. As a result, we have an impressive list of ‘titles’ that can change at the drop of a hat at any moment. Some of these titles include chef, tutor, chauffeur, counselor, motivator, friend, referee…just to name a few. And we all know we selflessly switch those hats as parents for the well-being of our children.
However, I made a note to self never to complain ever again when I saw this story about a 16-year old Florida girl, Grace Bush, who graduated college before even graduating high school (huh?). Yes, she completed her bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University with a 3.8 GPA in 3 years while still in high school! To take the word ‘over-achiever’ to a whole new level, the story goes on to say that her parents who home-schooled them, have 9 children in total! You know what that means right? Yes, multiply those hats up there by nine..Lol!
Kudos to Grace and her great parents, we wish her continued success in her dream to attend law school and become the next Chief Justice of the United States. Take a look at her story below…
Are we the only parents that derived a little bit of pleasure in sharing this video with our kids? #NervousLookFromKids
